The National Orphan Train Complex is a 501c3 non-profit and does not receive any funding from federal, state or local taxes. We operate completely off of admission fees, grants, and your donations. Here are a few ways you can help keep alive the story of the Orphan Train Riders here at NOTC:
Become a Friend of NOTC
One of the best ways to donate is to join our membership program and become a Friend of NOTC! For more information, click here.
One-Time Donations
We use donations to care for our facilities and collections, develop new exhibits, pay our staff, and host our annual Celebration. These donations are tax-deductible. If you would like to make a one-time or recurring donation, please email curator@orphantraindepot.org or call (785)243-4471.

Sponsor a Window Shade
Large windows are now $1100 including the plaque-only 2 available.
Sponsor a Brick in the NOTC Courtyard
Sponsor a brick for the National Orphan Train Complex courtyard! Bricks are $100 each, and allow for two lines of lettering. Each line can accommodate 13 total characters (including spaces). Bricks will be fired once a year, in May OR when a maximum number for installation have been sold. To order, please contact curator@orphantraindepot.org for the order form, and return it via email (curator@orphantraindepot.org) or mail (address listed on form).
Adopt-A-Day
Did you know that it costs $120 just to open the door on the Complex everyday? This includes utilities, insurance, maintenance, and salary for our curator. It doesn’t include any exhibit updates or enhancements.
Recognize the birthday of your Rider (or any other special person), your anniversary, or a Rider’s departure date by adopting a day at NOTC. Names will be recognized on the special date in the Orphan Train Museum, on our Facebook page, and on the NOTC website.
