Our theme this year was Honoring the Founders. This includes Charles Loring Brace, founder of the Children’s Aid Society that popularized and laid the groundwork for the Orphan Train Movement, Mary Ellen Johnson, founder of Orphan Train Heritage Society of America, and the founding of America 250 years ago.
